Privacy Policy
Last updated June 29, 2026
Biblicl ("we," "us") operates the Biblicl website and mobile applications. This policy describes what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information — email, username, display name, bio, and password (stored as a secure hash).
- Profile content — photos, captions, posts, comments, bookmarks, and Bible reading preferences you choose to save.
- Location data — when you attach a place to a post or use map features, we store coordinates and place labels you provide or that we derive from your media or selections.
- Usage & device data — standard server logs, cookies, and similar technologies needed to keep you signed in and to secure the service.
How we use information
- Provide, maintain, and improve Biblicl.
- Authenticate you and personalize your experience (theme, fonts, saved reading place).
- Send service-related email (for example password reset) and optional notifications you enable.
- Moderate content, enforce our terms, and protect our community.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We use service providers (such as hosting, image delivery, and email) who process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards. Public posts and profile fields you publish are visible to other users and visitors as designed.
Your choices
In Settings you can update your profile, control notification and email preferences, and delete your account. You may contact us to request access or correction of account information.
Retention
We retain account data while your account is active. Deactivated accounts are kept in a restricted state for abuse prevention and legal compliance; public content may be hidden or anonymized according to our moderation practices.
